Wednesday’s Paper: “The Production of Queer Space”

The Production of Queer Space

by D. Rita Alfonso

As usual, the paper is posted as a “page” accessible in the top right corner of the conference site.

Exciting event:
Rita has planned a synchronous ustream event to discuss her paper.  This sounds exciting!  From Rita: IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN TAKING PART OF A LIVE ONLINE DISCUSSION OF THIS PAPER ON WED OR FRIDAY, PLEASE DROP ME A LINE AND I’LL SEND YOU MORE DETAILS: dralfonso@berkeley.edu .

Thanks, Rita, for making the conference even more interactive!

I’m having a bit of trouble accessing the paper. The bar at the top has links for “HOME”, “About” and “Registration”, and drop-down menus for the first two papers, but I’m not seeing Dr. Alfonso’s paper. Am I just looking in the wrong spot?

    I’m browsing with Firefox.

Oh, jeez, I see it now. (It shows up in the upper left corner, in the gray bit below the black bar at the top.) Sorry about that.

I had the same problem, at first.:) It’s not very visible down there; it will be more so when the next paper gets posted next to it. Cheers, Rita

  1. Sorry about that, Rita. I didn’t know that the template would handle the page tabs in that way.

Hey, thanks for all the work you’ve put in. I know wordpress is a real pain to work with! When you get a chance, you might check out ning.com, or http://lgbtstudies.ning.com/.

  2. I second the thanks! It took a great deal of work to put this together, and kudos for being brave enough to just do it! This has already been productive, and next time around it will be even smoother.
